DeSenCCy
DeSenCCy
DeSenCCy aims to be a roguelike arena shooter, with the idea of having a cyborg as protagonist who can attach weapons to its body members, therefore, he's the weapon.
In DeSenCCy you control the cyborg known by G164 C1145, and each of his members can be replaced with a weapon, so, he can carry 4 weapons at once, 2 for the arms, and 2 for the legs.
He can't shoot all 4 guns at the same time though, so, you have to switch between your legs weapons and your arms weapons.
Every weapon is different, and all weapons have a HEAT bar, if the weapon overheat, you have to wait until it cooldowns to use again, this is where weapon combos come in and also where you can show some skill, on preventing weapons from overheating with clever switches between the legs and arms.
Currently we only have 3 types of enemies, yellow drones known by T11E53 NVT5, black drones known by G0T64 SU74 and the cyborgs known by L163A B4115, and they can shoot all types of projectiles in the player's direction.
When eliminating an enemy it has a chance to drop the weapon that shoots the projectile they were shooting at the player, and the player can pickup these weapons by simply clicking on it. It will replace the equipped weapon from the same trigger, so, for example, if an enemy drops a Rocket Launcher, and let's say the player has a Rifle equipped on his left leg, and the legs are active, and the player LEFT click on the Rocket Launcher, it will replace the Rifle with the Rocket Launcher. So, the player can choose which combo of weapons they want to carry around to fight.
If you pick the same weapon as you're carrying, you will heal instead, each weapon gives different health values.
The objective is to find the way out of the factory, which is a kind of maze map. Originally we wanted to do a boss fight, and have multiple levels, but that's on the backlog for now.
